Looking at my artistic journey, it’s like I’m constantly balancing two sides: the structured world of geometric design and the vibrant, free-flowing realm of aerosol painting. This ongoing exploration is shown through the way I spray and shape paint with different tools. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with mixing these two styles, but it’s not quite the same as before.

My approach to incorporating spray painting into my artistic development has been to embrace the concept of open change. Everything is receptive to possibilities beyond my preconceived notions of abstract art.

I believe the open dialogue I engage in with myself daily when approaching a work is pivotal. I release any preconceived plans for the day and allow myself to fully experience the moment’s energy. Based on that feeling, I then act accordingly.

As I evolve into my true artistic self, the world seems to expand and contract, and in this process, all the experiences of life flood my mind, yearning to be shared. Suddenly, everything I’ve known and will soon know appears before me, all neatly “written” on the page.

Engaging in my work presents an opportunity for self-discovery and renewal each day, particularly when revisiting a piece I believe requires a fresh perspective. It is an invitation to begin anew, to redefine the conversation, and to embrace my true self, unburdened by judgment or fear. Once I commence my work, I create a safe space for self-expression and self-acceptance.

THE_INSPIRATION//
Drawing inspiration from architectural principles and geometric abstraction. I employ pre-composed images and spontaneous painterly strokes in the creation of all my free-association works.

The moment is the narrative, the experience—the journey commences from the spontaneous expression of all the moments inherent in its execution.

THE_PURPOSE//
As an artist, the journey eluded me and it's still eluding because of the impermanence of creating. The ability to soak up all of what influences you, and use it as information for something visually transformative requires patience, stillness and awareness. I hope people see the movement of ideas through paint, pencil or marker. All the tools that translates into what you see before your eyes: my purpose and my hope.
